Our Strategy
Lost Faces of Humanity is a foundation and NGO, approved by the United States of America Department of State, the Ethiopian Government, and Ethiopia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We are a humanitarian NGO with the cornerstone to assist and empower refugees and internally displaced persons. Working with our partners who are on the ground to assist the refugee crisis.
Our core competency is connecting our non-profit to for-profits, philanthropic organizations, donors, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), governments, and individuals to make an impact in aiding humanitarian crises.. We are dedicated to tackling each issue one by one, with the right organizations, to make the biggest change possible. We have established relationships with the Ethiopian government, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the Refugees and Returnee Service (RRS), as we plan to leverage these relationships to assist refugees in need.
Request for Partnerships
The faster we can make an impact, the faster we can reverse the growing refugee crisis. By working with the Ethiopian and Uganda governments, skilled on-the-ground NGOs, and nonprofits, we can match critical issues with corporate dollars and expertise. We want to create a coalition for this change. We've already started discussing matters with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, the World Food Program (WFP), Refugees and Returnee Service (RRS) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to collaborate on short-term and long-term solutions to make the needed shift in these people's lives.
Engage via Photography
Todd Snyder's gift of capturing people in a positive light despite the circumstances, his photography, and his commentary speak to a much more hopeful future - one that he intends to help create. His photography creates a connection for people to better understand the truth of the refugee crisis, bringing each person a step closer. Snyder and his daughter have traveled to many countries, and together they have the unique ability to tell the broader human stories of these refugee camps that are 9000 miles away. We intend to use their stories and photography as a method of spreading awareness and fundraising. If you know anyone who would like to help us showcase Todd’s photography, please contact us.
